“They Live Inside Us” from Witching Season Films – Available on October 6th!
If you love Halloween and you haven’t already heard of Witching Season Films, today is your lucky day! For the last few years WSF has been releasing fantastic Halloween and horror content via their YouTube channel – https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkM-cHuMWrOQN1QnBYIpw6Q (Halloween Atmospheres I-III, scored by Slasher Dave, are particularly enchanting this time of year). On October 6th, WSF is releasing their first feature length film, They Live Inside Us.
They Live Inside Us follows the story of Jake, a screenwriter dealing with a serious bout of writer’s block. In hope of finding inspiration for his latest project, Jake takes his daughter to spend Halloween night in the notoriously haunted Booth House. He soon realizes that there is something evil in the house and he is living in his own horror story.
They Live Inside Us was originally created as a short film for The Witching Season horror anthology (you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/yPB152BZcyY). Similar to the short, the feature will include an abundance of Halloween atmosphere and a variety of horror movie characters that is sure to appease horror fans and Halloween enthusiasts alike!
Gravitas Ventures and Witching Season Films present THEY LIVE INSIDE US, releasing in the US and Canada on October 6th on Apple TV/iTunes, Amazon Prime Video, VUDU, Google Play, Microsoft (Xbox), Redbox On Demand, Vimeo, and YouTube Premium!

Cult of the Great Pumpkin Halloween 2020 Megamix: Listen at http://svi.link/greatpumpkin2020
Chad here – back in June I started assembling a Halloween playlist on Spotify; I’ve wanted to release a Halloween music mix for years, but never thought about it in time to get it done until this year, for what are probably obvious reasons!
Flash forward to yesterday, when I added track 150, for a total of 8 hours 11 minutes of pure Halloweeny goodness!
I had a few goals, here. Primarily I wanted to do my best to avoid the same tracks that every other Halloween playlist tends to include. On the other hand, there are certain songs that just had to be there, so whenever possible, I looked for alternative versions, covers and interpretations. I also included smaller/indy bands that I’ve come across over the years that are doing super-spooky stuff that maybe not a lot of people have heard.
What I wound up with, here, is a wildly eclectic mix of styles and sounds. You may not like every track, but you’ll at least like some of them! You can also use this playlist as the basis for your own curated mix, and when you hear a song you particularly like, I strongly encourage you to click the artist’s name and check’em out – many of them are on Bandcamp, where you can directly support them by purchasing their music and merch.
So listen! Enjoy! Share! Happy Halloween! Happy Autumn!
PLEASE NOTE: I have a bit of a warped sense of humor, and there are definitely songs/lyrics in this playlist that are not appropriate for children, period. So if the kids are present, just be mindful!

It’s been a great year for Sam Haynes despite lockdown. Sam and Gary have been featured on BBC Radio and have provided the soundtracks to several horror films.
Here is an early review for the album from legendary DJ Stevo in yr stereo: “Sam Haynes has topped himself with a phenomenal album. So many great tracks it’s difficult to choose a favorite. Contagion, is very topical and a standout, as well as VHS, and Darkness At Your Door. However, my very favorite is Rising Of The Lights which should be the huge hit of the album!”
