The Boulet Brothers’ Halloween House Party EP Out Now!
The Boulet Brothers, creators of “DRAGULA” on Shudder, have released an EP of Halloween songs that caught me completely by surprise. I’m a fan of their work and watch Dragula every season, so based on the timbre of the show, I had an idea of what the music would be like… and I was just plain wrong. Halloween House Party has a wonderfully retro, Munsters-ish, surf-music vibe, with most tracks sounding like they could have been recorded in the 60’s in the best possible way. There’s a short intro, four fantastic original tracks, and a terror-ific spooky ooky cover of Concrete Blonde’s “Bloodletting (The Vampire Song)”!
