Gearing Up for The Spooky Season
So I haven’t been posting to PumpkinCult.com nearly as much as I’d like to, which is weirdly a good thing. It means my client work is such that I don’t have time to spend on the Just For Fun Stuff. That said, as we find ourselves on the eve of September 1st, I’m going to try to be better about posting on a more regular basis.
So! Let’s kick off with a GREAT bit of news – this coming Friday (September 6th, 2019) the Order of the Thinned Veil has announced its very first vinyl release “Songs of the Thinned Veil”, music composed by Justin Burning, with cover art by the inimitable Sam Heimer! Inspired by the Legend of Lantern Jack, the album will be presented as a limited edition 12” LP, pressed on 150 gram translucent orange with black swirl vinyl, featuring 11 tracks and 33 minutes of spooky synth goodness.
Available in three editions: Standard, Deluxe and Super Deluxe!
- Standard includes just the record and will go for $30 +shipping (edition of 50)
- Deluxe edition includes the record and our new “Pied Piper Jackling” by The Cryptocurium cast in orange resin with a black rub. $50 +shipping (edition of 25)
- Super Deluxe edition includes the record, “Pied Piper Jackling” fully painted version and a 9×9 giclee on MOAB Entrada archival 100% cotton stock. $100 +shipping (edition of 25)
I checked with Justin and he assured me that there will also be a digital release as well (which they’re still figuring out), so if you’re not wired for vinyl, don’t worry! You can still hear the Halloween horrors! In fact, you can hear three tracks RIGHT NOW at https://soundcloud.com/orderofthethinnedveil/sets/songs-of-the-thinned-veil-1!
“Songs of the Thinned Veil” will be available next Friday, September 6th at 6pm EST in the Cryptocurium Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/Cryptocurium
