Michael Dougherty: Trick ‘r Treat 2 “Is Gonna Happen”; Trick ‘r Treat ‘Prequel’ Comic Book Coming In October

Trick ‘r Treat fans (and who isn’t!) rejoice: Michael Dougherty has confirmed what we all pretty much suspected: Trick ‘r Treat 2 has been on the back-burner while he worked on Krampus (something else to be excited about in its own right – yay Creepmas!).

While we all eagerly await the cinematic return of Sam, October 6th will see the release of “Trick ‘r Treat: Days of the Dead”, a comic book prequel that explores how Sam has influenced the evolution of Halloween throughout history.
