Amazing Music Thanks to Digital Meltd0wn!
Dozens and dozens of websites participated in the 2010 Countdown to Halloween (this site included), and while they all had great stuff to share, certain sites rose above and beyond to really bring us all some incredible goodies this year. One of those sites was/is Digital Meltd0wn, a site devoted to preserving and posting lost, forgotten and obscure music, scores and soundtracks. In October, DM posted dozens of rare and obscure horror movie scores, including Phantasm, The Thing, Halloween & Halloween 2, Evil Dead 2, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (just for starters) and a series of collections of UNRELEASED tracks from a variety of horror movies. Honestly, we can’t overstate this enough – you REALLY SHOULD go and start exploring/downloading what DM has posted. This is GREAT STUFF!!!
Better still, DM says they’re going to be doing an “Anti-Christmas Countdown” in December. The Cult can’t WAIT for that…
